Planning and Property Law - What does it mean to my Business?

How to stay on the right side of the planners.

More information on these and other topics is available on our new and improved website www.westminsterlicensees.org.

When does a bar become a restaurant? What is the definition of A3, A4 or A5 use and where to clubs sit in this? How do you define and prove type of business for planning purposes?

What impact will the latest cases on mixed user development have on the hospitality business? Is the tide really turning in favour of existing entertainment venues and against the interests of newly moved residents? What does case law have to say about our industry?

In order to help members, the Westminster Licensees Association and Association of Licensed Multiple Retailers are holding an informal business advice seminar on Friday 31 October. The keynote address will be given by Trevor Standen and Stephanie Thomas of Radcliffes LaBrasseir, who between them have over 40 years experience in planning and property litigation and the handling of applications and appeals. Radcliffes act as planning and property adviser to the WLA.

Make sure you are up-to-date on changes to the law affecting your business by attending. Spaces are strictly limited and members should email kate@nlcommunications.co.uk to reserve theirs.
