Following recent events at Tiger Tiger, the WLA has joined forces with Westminster Police to host a seminar on counter terrorism.  It is a ‘must attend’ event for all hospitality businesses in the West End.

The event is aimed at GMs/DPS, area and regional managers as well as head office personnel and is designed to provide companies with the latest information and advice on how to protect your business from the terrorist threat.

Topics will include:

  1. Hostile reconnaissance - what to look out for
  2. Deadly and determined attacks
  3. Bombs – dos and don’ts
  4. Hilton Metropole 7/7 experience
  5. Police communications and cordons

Police counter-terrorism courses normally cost £30, but attendance is free for WLA members. Spaces are, however, strictly limited. To reserve yours, please contact Kate Nicholls, Secretary WLA.
