The countdown to the new Licensing Act has begun. Westminster Council
has now adopted its local policy and the Government has finalised
the application forms, procedures and costs. Now all that is left
is for you to apply for your new licences. D-Day is 7th February.
How much will it cost and
how do you apply? Do you need new plans? What are the pitfalls and
potential difficulties ahead? What are the actions you should be taking
now? How will your business be viewed by the Council and what treatment
can you expect?
Be the first to know the
details of how policy will be applied on the ground in Westminster.
Ensure you are best placed to take advantage of the new flexibilities
and avoid costly mistakes by attending our next free members' event.
Our legal and political
experts will be on hand to provide you with the answers to these and
other questions and guide you through the process of making applications.
We will be joined by Councillor Audrey Lewis and the Metropolitan
Police to explain the new system of inspection and enforcement
which will be applied to businesses once the new regime is in place.
It is also an opportunity to meet informally colleagues in the industry,
learn more about the work of the association, raise issues of concern
and network. It is an event not to be missed.
Attendance at the event
is free to all members but we do need to know numbers for catering
purposes. The meeting is being held on Wednesday 19th January 2005
from 4-6pm at CC Club, Piccadilly.
