WHY YOU NEED to Join

Important local policy decisions are being made every day which will impact on your business, both your day-to-day operations and your future plans.

Whether it is price-led promotions, extension of the congestion charge, paid-for policing, smoking bans or licensing of door supervisors, all will make an impact.

How do you keep track? How do you make your voice heard? Who can you rely on to provide you with the facts?
Membership of the WLA will keep you in the picture and make sure that your voice is heard.

It only costs £100 per outlet per annum.  Companies with between 15-50 outlets pay £1,500 and those with 50 or more outlets pay £2,000.

You get all this:

  • Practical assistance in resolving disputes you might have with Westminster City Council – the WLA can take up your case on your behalf.
  • Access to the WLA team of regulatory, planning, employment and licensing specialists for a free consultation.
  • Your voice heard on issues vital to your business, such as transport, licensing, opening hours and capacity.
  • Regular newsletters with features on, for example, employment law, police guidance, licensing law and smoking
  • E-mail alerts about potential threats to your business such as test purchasing stings and tax stamps.
  • Free places at WLA social events to network with other licensees.
