The WLA is a purely voluntary group run by operators for operators.
A Council administers the Association, with representatives from Glendola Leisure, Novus, Covent Garden Restaurants, Interpub, Punch Taverns, Maxwell’s Restaurants, Mitchells & Butler, Majol, Match Bar Group and Grosvenor House Hotel.
Secretariat support is provided by Kate Nicholls, who has extensive experience of working within the political environment. She has spent the past decade working for the licensed retail trade, including Whitbread, Association of Licensed Multiple Retailers and British Institute of Innkeeping.
