Making your voice heard
Our mission is to be an effective and influential voice for the trade.
Our vision is of a supportive regulatory environment in which vibrant, dynamic and responsible operators can flourish free of unnecessary red tape.
To realise this vision, we will:
- Campaign on licensing, planning and transport policy
- Promote the social and economic contribution made by the trade
- Provide high quality, value added advice on how to comply with new legislation
What is the WLA?
The Westminster Licensees Association is the only trade body dedicated to representing the specific needs and concerns of pub, club, bar and restaurant operators in the entertainment capital of the UK. Membership is open to any individual or company with one or more licensed premises operating in the Westminster area.
Formed in 2001, our membership coverage is such that we are acknowledged as the voice of the trade within Westminster. We represent the trade on Westminster’s Entertainment Forum and have regular dialogue with Councillors, officials, the police, local magistrates, residents’ groups, amenity societies, Transport for London, MPs and Ministers.
